Applications

 It allows to wind disc-type coils on vertical axis, mainly suitable for HV windings of the largest power transformers

Floor Type Vertical Winding Machines:

 The machine is specially designed to wind big size transformer coils with adjustable pre-requisite tension. The coils are wound on vertically held mandrels of various sizes.

Floor type Vertical Winding Machines are optimal from both technical and economical standpoint as compared to conventional horizontal winding machines because production times and setup times can be improved considerably.

Pit Type Vertical Winding Machines:

 It is also used for winding large size transformer coils similar to floor type, except that the machine is installed below ground (in a pit). As the coil is wound the mandrel is automatically lowered below the floor, making it easy for the operator to continue working without having to raise and lower the platform (compared to floor type machines)

1. Main frame: heavy-duty welded steel column with high precision vertical guide rails for stable operation.

 2. Turntable (pit-type) or platform (floor-mounted): optional lifting mechanism for coil loading and unloading, with max lifting stroke suitable for coil diameters from 275mm to 1000mm.

 3. Winding head: high-strength spindle with variable speed control, 0-100 rpm continuously adjustable.

 4. Tension system: pneumatic constant tension control with closed-loop feedback, suitable for round wire, flat wire (1.2x4mm to 3x15mm), and CTC transposed conductor (up to 20x25mm).

 5. Wire laying system: servo-driven bidirectional automatic wire laying with high repeatable positioning accuracy and programmable pitch control.

 6. Coil car follower: automatic carriage synchronization system that follows the winding layer to prevent conductor twisting and deformation.

 7. Control system: PLC with high-performance CPU, servo motor drive, color touch screen HMI, and recipe storage for multiple process parameters.

 8. Safety protection: emergency stop, safety interlock, overload protection, and audible alarm system.

 9. Power supply: 380V / 415V, 3-phase, 50/60Hz (customizable).

 10. Options: hydraulic loading/unloading device, automatic coil push-out, remote monitoring module, and data logging system.
